Description:

Makes Administrating KDE Easier

Run As SU - makes installing downloaded software (ex game demos ETC.) easier. Allowes you to run an executable as root with only a click.

Open As SU - allows you to open a Konqueror file manager window in any directory with only a click.

INSTALL
Simply unpack the tar.gz and copy the two files to:

$KDEDIR/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/

Great I have serached for a tool like this. However there ara a litle problem.

It works great if I right click a folder which I have permission to read. But when I for example right click /root, the option "Open as Root" dosn't exist. Is there any way to fix it?

In open as root it starts a new konqueror as root, and opens specified dir. Usually style/theme used in root's account is different from those in users account and it dosen't look nice. Also all user settings are not there in this konqueror started as su. It would be nice if instead of starting new konqueror, it opens up in same konqueror window.

I could probably make it so that as root, konqueror would still uae the konquerorrc of the origional user.

I am not sure if this is a good idea though. If the Konqueror window that had root priv looks like all the other windows, people might really mess up their systems by forgetting that this window has root priv,

It might be a good idea to leave it having a different look.

I guess I would like to hear some opioions first
