Description:

New version for Amarok 2 of former AmarokNowPlaying for Facebook.

Sends song information on each track change, and posts on demand "special comments".

This script is designed to work with the NowPlaying webservice, which is not hosted anymore. Please see the author's blog: http://similitux.elementfx.com/blog/index.php?post/2011/10/05/Hosting-down-for-NowPlaying%2C-again%2C-again-and-again..

1.1: experimental proxy support, feedback greatly appreciated :), along with some UI polish

1.0: "special comments" are not beta anymore.

0.99999: RC, solved the bug of sending a blank cover

0.9999: RC, solved another bug and added configuration options

0.999: second beta, solved a little bug

0.99: first beta.

The facebook app always show the same cd cover. I disabled the option to send cover, but now I can only see the first cover that was send. Now all the songs appear with the same cover.

I tried to do something for this, but I found no way to handle Amarok's shutdown from script (since the script run inside Amarok, whereas before it ran as a separate process)

You still can stop playing yourself before shutting down Amarok...
