Description:

I really love dark themes but find most of them unuseable in practice. The icons don't show up well against the black toolbar.

I created this theme by combining the amazing Neutronium high theme with the lovely BlueSpace theme and my own blue toolbar.

Very little work by me but the effect is 10 times better than the effort.

Screenshot is shown with the Mazantigade Mark II metacity theme and the Black-white 2 Gloss icon theme.

I know what you mean. Whenever I switch back to Human or Human BC I always feel sort of cleansed and uncluttered.

It never lasts long though, I always get drawn back to the shiny objects.

I appreciate any effort to make a usable dark theme. It's not easy. I like the looks of this theme but there's an issue with Firefox 3. Start typing into either the address bar or the search bar. The drop-down suggestions that appear are black against almost-black. Anything you can do about it? (If you figure out an easy fix, I may need to apply it to my own dark theme as well.)

Hi Anywhere

No doubt you will find a fix before me.

I have only just started out on this theming addiction which is why I am using other peoples themes. I feel like a bit of a fraud but I reckon the best way to learn is to get stuck in and build up gradually.

If I do work anything out during my stumbling around, I'll let you know.
