Description:

This service menu has been permanently discontinued. After some investigation I have discovered that this service menu can potentially compromise the security of your Truecrypt volumes in the event you are hacked. I cannot, in good conscience, continue to release this service menu. If this service menu didn't deal with such sensitive information as Truecrypt is normally used for then it wouldn't be much of a problem.

I strongly advise that you remove this service menu (if you have it installed) from your system immediately and stick with Truecrypt's suggested methods of mounting and unmounting your Truecrypt volumes.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

Yeah, sorry about that. I should have looked at it more carefully before releasing it to the public.

I'm still using it myself, but I don't feel right about giving it to others knowing that it makes encryption software vulnerable.

Apparently Truecrypt is working on a GUI frontend for Linux. Just hang in there, it'll come someday.

could you explain exactly how my tc volumes could get compromised with tcmount? if that's a very rear case, i would also consider further using of tcmount. (and if sometning goes wrong - of course it's not your fault)
