Description:

Windows' users can choose the programs who like Windows open when the PC swich on. Msconfig shows a list with this programs and let user cahnge them. Who there aren't "msconfig" for linux? I think a "linuxStartConfig" should be very usable for people that haven't many knowledges of programation.

im not sure of your question... do u want to manage programms thats start at KDE startup or at startup of operating system?

1.) at strtup of KDE - ~/.kde/Autostart/
2.) it can't be managed by KDE, because lots of linux distros have different principles of launching services(redhat type, gentoo...)

If I understood he want a GUI tool for that. Well I guess newbuys don't need this tool and the rest could make it manualy (my opinion). And there are sessions(they save the opened programs list).So lot of aplications (kopete, azureus, skype,...) use this to autostart.

You can do that just by levaing the apps opened when finishing your KDE session.

I think it's a very good idea because people who are used to windows can't know about the autostart folder. I don't like the way how it's done in windows, however. Maybe you can do something in KControl?
