Description:

Make Cinnamon look like venerable WinXP interface. May/may not work on other DEs

This is the Royale flavor, I also maintain the Luna flavor

Includes gtk3, gtk2, cinnamon, metacity-1, and cursor themes

Two variants are available:
-a general theme which includes support for all latest packages, including gtk-3.18 and cinnamon 2.8
-a Linux Mint branch which is identical to the above except it supports gtk-3.10 (the latest available for LM 17.3)

Zune looks interesting, will definitely look into it

need to focus on some immediate improvements first (icons, gtk 3.20, cinnamon 3, etc)

Contrary to popular belief, Vista was no technical disaster. With SP2, it is quite fine.
Anyhow, would you consider to create a CinnVista? [Y]/[N]?

so as fun as it sounds, CinnVista/7/8/10 will be pretty far off. To put this in perspective, it took me several months (given everything else I'm doing now) just to make the Royale theme which shares 90% of its code with Luna. On top of that the only Windows OS I've really used extensively is Win7, so there would be a steep learning curve for me to make anything other than Cinn7.

not saying it won't ever happen, but too far away to propose a timeline

I'm not pushing anything here. Just thinkering. After all I'm very satisfied with Royal.
