Description:

A rounded, crisp and flat theme. Aimed to be pleasant, useable and especially readable (screenshot uses Arial 11 font).

Basically I always envied OS X' Aqua not for the brushed-metal / glossy buttons eye-candy but because it was easy to read and to work with.

Designed together with the Vignette Metacity theme shown in the screenshot (see also).

- uses pixbuf gtk theme engine

Its very good, but it's a little annoying that the toolbar and menubar are different colors (I think the menubar is lighter).

yes, menus are lighter, which I happen to like better than the yellow.

Really not bad, but I think there are some typo error in your gtk+2 theme:


.../Vignette/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:759: Unable to locate image file in pixmap_path: "text_entry_selected"
.../Vignette/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:762: Background image options specified without filename
.../Vignette/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:1321: Unable to locate image file in pixmap_path: "text_entry_selected"

I like where this theme is going, but the border on the UI widgets is just too dark, and the contrast kills your eyes after a little while of use. I think it would be pretty nice if you softened up the harder borders, opting instead for a duller gray rather than the black you have now. I think the buttons look absolutely fantastic, border aside, but the menus, scrollbars and progress bars need tightening up.
