Description:

The Arecibo Observatory, the ear of the SETI project.

http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/

I hope you join the project and enjoy this and the other SETI wallpapers (don't want to flood kde-look... you can find them by clicking on my nickname)

Feedback is appreciated.

Changelog:

There's been lot of talk on the tv and press about the recent discovery of a signal likely to be of alien origin...

it's not time to shout and open champagne, it's time to lend more processor time to these guys.

if you guys at Berkeley see this... keep up the good work!!

Nice but 1 Posting with 4 Screenshots and every File in one tar.gz should be enough.

And one without any Message would be nice too.

yes it was in Goldeneye, i wonder if it was grabbed from the DVD and deemed SETI headquarters, or if they filmed the movie at the real SETI headquarters?

I guess we'll never know.

Huh?

The real facilities building has nothing associated with Seti.

The Seti project merely obtains a data dump from the radio telescope.

This picture is not from the movie.
