Description:

The xdg-su script is an unmaintained part of xdg-utils package which is a set of simple scripts that provide basic desktop integration functions for any Free Desktop, such as Linux.

xdg-su is meant to be a cross-desktop and cross-distro utility to run applications as any user but especially as root.

I have tried to improve script. See changelog

Thanks for your kind comment. I noticed that you have not changed release tag from my old mvt rpm. It should be 1.1 instead of 1.1beta1. :) I was a long time Mandriva user and contributor. But now im an Archer :)

of course I know you "tarakbumba"....
And I'm sorry that you had to switch distro ....
As I told you it was only a rebuild from mvt src.rpm with my rpmmacros, but now:
Wrote: /home/symbianflo/rpmbuild/SRPMS/xdg-su-1.1-69.src.rpm
Wrote: /home/symbianflo/rpmbuild/RPMS/noarch/xdg-su-1.1-69-mrb2011.0.noarch.rpm

The *changelog ( if I may ... )
- New stable release
- Imported from mvt
- Carring on Ontas legacy ( he's on arch now... )
- MRB-Mandriva Users.Ro

Hope you can carry on maintaining it .
