En realidad la política de escritura solamente en inglés, debiera ser "escribir en inglés y si se desea, añadir el idioma de origen". Me parece menos agresiva, que solamente en inglés y nada más. Entiendo que el inglés sea el idioma que en todo el mundo toda la gente pueda entender mejor (antes que nosotros los hablantes del español, entender el húngaro o el ruso; o un alemán entendiendo español en vez de inglés). Y creo que debe mantenerse como "standard". Pero también sería agradable poder expresarse en nuestro propio idioma sin temor de ser "baneados".
