Description:

I have configured my desktop to have several picture frames stacked on top of each other as seen in screenshot 2. Unfortunately there are no settings to specify which order the widgets are stacked.

I propose a setting to allow users to decide the stack order of their widgets.

I've made a mockup as seen in screenshot 1. I should include options to:
- Send widgets to the back
- Bring widgets to the front
- Send widgets back one layer
- Bring widgets forward on layer

Let me know what you guys think!

I've often thought it would be useful to have something like that... maybe you should post your idea on the KDE brainstorm forum as well!

perhaps thus could be implemented as a plugin, so that folks who wanted this could add it in.

otherwise, the devels advocate position would be that it clutters up the interface.

...well maybe maybe not

An option could be that the icon only shows up when the particular widget is stacked.

...I don't know how difficult that would be to implement.
