Description:
noatun-normalize provides a normalization plugin for Noatun.
It reads the RVA tags from mp3 files or the replaygain tags from vorbis files if they are available.
If they are not available they are computed on the fly for the current song and saved in the playlist meta information or in the file tags.
It also provides an editor for changing the gain of the current song manually.
For vorbis normalization to work you need the most current vorbisgain version (0.36).
For mp3 or wav normalization you need the normalize program
For RVA reading from mp3 files to work TagLib needs to be patched. There is already a bug report filed.
Make sure to install the package under the same prefix as artsd otherwise arts will not find the NoatunNormalize effect.
