-would like to fix the shading in and around the text cause they look like crap

-would like to fix the text so it matches the lettering on the other side of sugar packets

but the basic issue here is the photo seems a little blurry, you may need to take it again, then it will be easier to work with

Good idea!
A little hint:
In order to make the yellow part look more realistic, you should add a little noise spread.

Sorry i don't know how it is called in english gimp menus and my locale can't be changed so easily.
