Description:

This is a transparent backgound. This is cool because it means that you can choose your own background colour (or background gradient).

How to do this? I cannot speak for KDE, but in Gnome: (Pretty easy, but if you have no clue)

1)Right-click the background that you currently have
2)Press "Change Desktop Background"
3)Press "Add Wallpaper"
4)Find your file in the file browser that pops up
5)Now, below "Style", "Add Wallpaper" and "Remove" you will see the colour options. ("Desktop Colour"). Select out of the drop down menu either vertical gradient, horizontal gradient, or solid colour. (Personally, I like the gradient for this one.)
6) Click the colour boxe(s) and select your colour(s) for the gradient or solid colour

Note: I cannot speak for all versions of Gnome or all Distros. I have a feeling its pretty standard for Gnome though, assuming you have the most current version.

This is my second, please feel free to respond to this. Tell me if you have any good ideas as well.

As for the message: empower Linux, I am only saying pretty much "Power to the Linux People!".

Changelog:

Bad news. I could not make the file size small enough at 1600x. I had to change it to 999 x 749. I am sorry. Hopefully, this will not make a difference for people at 1024x. (I realize that 999 x 749 is not a standard.)

It looks a little blurry: I cannot really change that. If you think its better that I change the size to 800x600 with good quality, please leave a message.

Another idea is that I might be able to make it smaller if I make it into a jpg and add a background that is fixed. Does anyone think that is a good idea?

Wow, I'm dumb. I relized that since the whole thing was black and white, I could convert to grayscale. That cut the size in half. The image is now 1400x. That means that if youre using anything less, it will be very nice and sharp. :)

Its actually 'Sans' for the plainish text and 'URW Chancery L, italics' for the 'L'.
