Submitted:  Nov 14 2006
Updated:  Dec 3 2008

Description:

Derived from Allocine.fr for italian
database.
How to setup this datasource:
- source name: it.Cinematografo (or whatever you want :)
- Collection type: video collection
- Result type: tellico
- Path: /path/to/script/it.cinematografo.py
- Arguments:
Title (checked) = %1
Update (checked) = %{title}

Be sure to chmod +x it.

Depends: Python >= 2.3.x

Changelog:

0.6 : Depends upon python 2.5 or newer and on wget. sorry but urllib2 seems half
broken on some urls so wget is now needed.

0.4: refined and fixed, thanks also to Giovanni Turchi.

Save them removing the number at the start of the name, and write down
full path to were you saved.
Then be sure to make executable with chmod u+x filename
(where filename is name of file).
Open tellico, choose:
settings->configure-tellico->Data sources->new
(Ita: Impostazioni->configura-tellico->
fonti dei dati-> nuovo)

then choose external program in the second field, browse to the file path in third field, and insert these:

-collection type:video collection
-source name: cinematografo (or what you want)
-result type:tellico
- Arguments:
Title (checked) = %1
Update (checked) = %{title}

cinematografo, filmup and castelrock plugin aren't working (no result set even for "simple" query), and filmtv plugin is very slow on response

 I need your help

 by avilagas on: Apr 17 2007

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place, but I'm trying to add a FIELD to my tellico collection (a book collection) to link each bibtex entry to a local file having a similar name. This are actually scanned books, and I would like to use tellico to open them. I have NO CLUE of how I could do that. Could you give me some pointers of what I should try?
Thanks!
GaS

I don't think this can be done with a script, you need to execute a command from inside tellico.
Try to ask to Tellico dev
(http://www.periapsis.org/tellico/ ,
author is at top left)

filomscoop, filmtv and castelrock plugin don't work; cinematografo plugin sometimes gives empty results. I'm using Kubuntu 7.10 and tellico 1.3

yes, it seems that anything but filmUP and cinematografo is obsolete, unpdating or deleting in next weeks. meanwhile I'm checking that cinematografo issue is a criptic

"urllib2.URLError: <urlopen error [Errno -3] Temporary failure in name resolution> "

That doesn't depends on the script...
