 what's wrong?

ulbe, what is wrong with you?
as far as my knowledge goes, the definition of a wallpaper says nothing about a disabled person being the most important part of it.
it's supposed to be artistic, beautiful, touching or anything like that, and i honestly doubt a bad picture of a disabled person would be quite enough.
i mean, i'm sorry but i really think you're pushing it a little bit too far.

I think it's a fine picture! It's much better than keeping the disabled hidden in closets where people can't see them. Sheesh.

I think this person is trying to get make an accessibility statement.

We should all think more about others not just ourselves..

well, perhaps he is but do you think this is really the way?
should i take just a very ordinary picture of my friend who's afro-american (or whatever the politically correct word is this month) and put it up as a wallpaper, saying i'm fighting racism? do you think anyone would really get it?
how about having a muslim-who-is-not-a-terrorist, a gay, and a whale on the wallpaper, too?

How can this wallpaper NOT be appreciatiated? I love this thing. Now, I'm famous for my political incorrectness (well, not famous, but renowned for un-PC bad taste within my miniture circle of friends), so I can help but get the urge to switch that thing on and watch him roll into the water!

Why does everyone have to warp things into politics. This is imaging and artwork we're making here. Art is about invoking feelings into those who experience it. To me, it invokes sadistic fantasies of watching a sleeping old guy fall into the water at the hand of his own wheelchair, to some of you guys, it's making you angry. Art is NOT about looking at something and thinking "ooo that's pretty," it's about expression of emotion.

ulbe you're a genius. Wether you saw this guy and laughed until you composed yourself enough to take the picture, or felt sorry for the guy, you've succeeded in doing what art is supposed to do: make people feel.

Top Notch...you're going in my bookmarks :)

I would have to agree, it is a moving picture. One that makes me think of the greater things in life and dare I say it lifes meaning itself.
