Description:

For all true followers of Jesus Christ, who realize what Christmas is really about, and of Whom the prophet Isaiah was speaking.

Done in the Gimp. The clipart is from an unknown source; it's been on my HD for a long time.

NOTE: I will not dignify flames by answering them. If you do not like this work, make the mature choice of using your back arrow.

If a flame thread begins, I *will* delete the entry and re-enter it. It's up to you! Vote your opinion of the work.

Changelog:

Erased earlier work; dropped all text to bottom of picture, made background darker and saved image as .png to improve gradient.

Don't you think that you kind of ruin the voting system with this approach? And isn't deleting all the entries and going back to tabula rasa, once someone objects the art or the subject, a bit infantile?

*once someone objects the art or the subject*

Flaming and objecting are two different things.

Bye Soyburg.

Flaming and objecting are two different things.

To flame as defined by the Jargon Dictionary is

flame     [at MIT, orig. from the phrase `flaming asshole'] 1. vi. To post an email message intended to insult and provoke. 2. vi. To speak incessantly and/or rabidly on some relatively uninteresting subject or with a patently ridiculous attitude. 3. vt. Either of senses 1 or 2, directed with hostility at a particular person or people. 4. n. An instance of flaming. When a discussion degenerates into useless controversy, one might tell the participants "Now you're just flaming" or "Stop all that flamage!" to try to get them to cool down (so to speak).

I have to assume that you meant definition #1 and #3.

Please also read definition #2.

Please forgive me, but I have to make a point against this "you say something I don't like, I censor you" shit.

God sucks.

So you've got your flame war. Are you going to ridicule yourself in deleting and re-posting? This may be a good trick to give your wallpapers some downtime...

No, it's not about "saying something I don't like"...If it were, I would have done that by now. I have thicker skin than that.

My warning has nothing to do with the periodic comments but threads that are permeated with flames.

THere is no sense in that. What you or anyone else types is your choice.

I'd be just as happy if it were nice and quiet...try me!

:)

Typical bible banger attitude. If you say something I don't like I'll delete it! True to church doctrine. The Pope would be proud.

Maybe you should make one with some priests and little kids...you know, to be accurate. Or, if your Mormon, make a one with a dirty looking old dude with a couple of 13 year old wives.

You might be angry at what I just posted. Maye you should understand that your wallpapers incite anger in other people and take them elsewhere.

Hey, I'd feel better if you kept the allusions to priests and mormons for yourself.
I agree that there are true scumbags in religion (such as Tim) but there are also truly worthy people too.
So let's kick the fundies and sick sob asses and keep the others out of it.

Priests have had their reputation ruined by the scandal of child molestation, and the Mormon religion is born out of polygamy, hipocrisy and deception.

The point of this is not to flame, but to point out that just because something is religiously endorsed doesn't mean that it's better than anything else. Sure, this guy's wallpapers have religious symbolism on them, but they're just ugly. Religious art can be beautiful...take a look at Italy or Greece...but this crap you're churning out is not at all pretty to look at. Stop dismissing people having the balls to tell you that your art is horrible as "flaming." I need no qualification when I say I wish you had never signed up here or posted any of your wallpapers.

pages from the bible work great to roll a fat joint in a pinch.

Get a man a beer, he drinks for 5 minutes.
Show him where they are, he drinks all damn day.
