Description:

Tasik Maninjau, another angle. As you can see part of the reasons that its lacking contrast (and seemingly unsharp) is because of the overcast. Perhaps giving it a canvas look will do justice to it.

 Awful quality

Can you please stop posting every photo you took on your holiday using that awful camera. People have moved on from 640 x 480 resolution for their monitors.

Actually, I am also finding out what type of wallpaper that people do prefer so that I can judge what to upload. One mans meat is anothers poison. Its very hard to judge.

Thank you for the response.

 Quality's fine.

The quality of this photograph is not an issue. It's a bit blurry, but otherwise unremarkable.

Rather, I wouldn't use something like this as a wallpaper mainly because it's too... what's the word... cluttered? Well, not exactly cluttered, but there's many sharp edges and shapes that draw the eye away from important icons and text. That's why super-up-close photos are so popular; they are very sharp and finely detailed, but they aren't distracting.

Of course, that's just my own opinion. I won't bash you for uploading wallpapers that YOU like. ;)

all these sharp edges are because the picture was taken using low resolution camera and then some software is used to scale up to make it 1280x1024 size.

Well, no doubt that the pic was good....resolution is however really bad.

Owning computers nowadays is a bit like having a pet rabbit,
It needs to be fed with right stuff or it gets sick.

Try Firefox [http://www.mozilla.com/firefox] --- the right stuff!

Actually the resolution is 1600 x 1200. Under bright light condition the image is not bad only under diffused lighting as in overcast that it does not really shine. This is where the quality of the lens matter.
