Description:

Yesterday i found a Theme here called "Krisp", unfortunally it doesn't work on KDE 3.4.. so i've tried to create a graphic as a suggestion for a Theme like Plastik, but with some gradients (Buttons & Progressbars) and a "brushed" Background-Texture like in Baghira.. what do You think about this?
PS: please don't vote this down just for fun!! if You don't like it, please leave a comment!

Changelog:

added a second graphic as alternative suggestion (screenshot 2) &
screenshot 3 - the same like screenie 2, but with more rounded edges (buttons etc.)

I like this. I am currently working on a lot of modifications to Krisp as well as 3.4 compatibility. I'd like to try and implement some of the ideas you've presented here. As for the background thing, I will look into that, but I suspect it's more difficult to implement.

mhh.. i don't know, how the textured background worked in baghira, but if we use a brushed texture, which is not shiny and create a seamless pattern? anyway, if You need help in creating the gfx, drop me a line via e-mail or on jabber > jiin@jabber.org

ps: great, that You would work on krisp, but please don't change the progressbar-gfx, it's really nice! maybe You could expand this theme later, so the user could have the choice of some different graphical styles in krisp, You know, like in baghira etc..

Two words: ew and ew. I'm not too fond of the gradient. Actually, I really hate it. I think it detracts from what would otherwise be a pretty ok (in the second screenshot i'd dare say awesome) theme. I didn't vote for this either way, but like I said, the gradients make me not terribly enamored with it.
