Description:

I\'m a huge fan of german vintage speakers. Like Braun L Series, Canton Quinto and Heco Professional.

So I decided to make an simple but beautiful icon for my gnome desktop.

I will upload some other colors and wood designs as soon as possible.

The .svg file is made with inkscape.

Hope you like it and use it, maybe for rythmbox or banshee or just for your music folder.

Au revoir

License? For what? It\'s free for everyone, but please do me a favour and don\'t use it for commercial projects! I\'ll be also very happy if you give me a small feedback when you use it for your projects.

Thank you :)
Feel free to use it for Mashup!

But ... kinda sad ... already 60 downloads and still no feedback.

 Licensing

I would be a lot easier for people to, as you say, use it in their projects if you would release it under an proper license (like GPL, MIT or Creative Commons). As it is now, people can not distribute the icon with their projects since they do not own the copyright for it.

dude... make a freakin icon theme. youve got skillz..seriously.
and honestly if you can make something of this calibre and detail in inkscape and release an icon theme in svg format...you will get lots of love from deskmodders..
not to mention you would make teh gnome gui teh sexxeeh, famous, and lots more people will adopt it.
in short you are and will be a l33t artist amongst ordinary puny humans.

giggity giggity goo. hehe...

@hansiro. I will release the icons in the future under the GPL or Creative Commons license. Should be the best ones for this. ;)

@BillyShere: WOW. I'm such encouraged about your nice words. It's nice to hear that somebody likes my icons and honors my work.
To surprise you and all the other fans and users of this icon. I'm actually working on a complete icon theme. We're now in the status of define the style guidelines. We will work on it as fast as we can and will release a preview soon! So watch out for it. ;)

Our target is high. We want to create a parallel project to KDE's Oxygen icons.

Anyhow, thanks again for all your nice words!

Best regards

Florian

Hey bud, any chance we can get this icon in horizontal view with a centered perspective? If I use this current icon on its side it appears too much to one side, a balanced left and right would be swell.

ciao
