Great theme.
Clean simple nice, the inactive font color is a bit too dark, but don`t worry i can change that quickly.

 MATE Notification Area Icons

Hello firstly I want to thank you for making such an awesome theme, it has now taken permanent residence on my ThinkPad. Much appreciated and great work!

I have however had my experience rather soured largely due to the Volume and Bluetooth icons in "mate-panel" notification area. Any tips on how I might resolve this?

Thanks, Patrick

Did not include a screenshot sorry. I would like to have the monochrome icons ideally.

That is all set by the icons you choose. It has nothing to do with my theme. Try out some different icon packs, I beleive ubuntu has two monochrome icon packs. You will need to experiment till you find the icons that work for you.
I wish I could be of more help.
Best Luck- Josh

I'm using the icon pack listed above. Is that not yours?

Its not mine, I only changed the colors of the files so that they woud match the theme. I am willing to change the two icons in question for you and i'll provide you with a download link for the altered version. the bluetooth icon and ? what color would you like them?

Well that is a great offer, thank you very much.

I am actually curious if the bug is with the original icon theme pack as
you mentioned. The bluetooth and volume icons that are displaying are
not actually anywhere to be found in the sable icon theme so I wonder if
they are defaulting to some other set?

If you did generate those icons for me then where would I put them, I
have already tried copying and pasting icons from other themes in to the
sable theme folder and thus far nothing changes...

I really appreciate your help :-)

Thanks, Patrick

They look like default gnome icons. A lot of sets use some of the default icon set. If I generated them for yuo I wouldd go ahead and package them as an icon theme . All you would need to do is install theme. Let me know what theme you like best and color preference and I'll see what I can do.

I am using the "Ultra Flat" icons and I am using a dark panel so I would need light coloured icons. Thank you very much :-)

I would really love to know how to do this myself eventually. How did you get started?

I checked and that icon pack does indeed have volume icon and bluetooth icons within it. It would mean its an issue with mate not reading them. I can't figure out why not. I am very sorry. I don't know what else to do for you.

Oh no worries at all you have already gone above and beyond your "duty" and I have appreciated it very much. Thank you.

I have a feeling that the icon problems are caused by MATE's differently named/forked applications. I shall speak to the MATE team when I get the chance.

Thank you again for your time, Patrick.
