I respect the men and women in the armed forces an incredible ammount becuase they're willing to die for what they believe however I don't respect the rich people who sit thousands of miles away making comments and treating human life like a commodity.

Yes, this wallpaper can be considered "art" there's no arguing that. I just wonder what you would think if people took the symbol your country, a symbol that you take pride in and turned it into something that equates you with something horrible. When you've lived your life in a great place, and your ancestors left the poor conditions of their homeland to come to a place where they could make the best for their families, things like this can seriously hurt and offend people.

This site is about art and improvements for KDE, a project that encompasses people from all over the world. Yet some people feel the need to "contribute" things that attack the nationality of people who have added so much to our wonderful desktop environment.

So, you may want to ask yourself..."Am I part of this community to build things up for the better, or tear things apart?"

Well, most people usually have the intellegence or maturity to comprehend that others have opinions different to theres and when nations launch preemptive strikes against nations without the backing on any global entity (ie, the UN) peoples opinions get alittle distorted. Live with it, it's happening in your name, you can stop it but you choose not too.
