Description:

Made with Oxyzone plasma theme and oxycolors icon theme, and a very cool wallpaper too. Hope you like it.

I've added the original wallpaper so you can change background colour or resolution as you want.

Simply open it with am image editor (eg. gwenview or gimp), resize it and save as background0.png.
Copy the new file in the theme directory:

sudo mkdir $HOME/.kde/share/apps/ksplash/Themes/OxyLightsSplashScreen/your_resolution

sudo cp path_to_new_file/background0.png $HOME/.kde/share/apps/ksplash/Themes/OxyLightsSplashScreen/your_resolution/


Supported resolutions:
1280x800 (widescreen)
1024x768




Changelog:

I added it as well as the kdm theme and the wallpaper to my laptop.

The splash (KDE loading screen) does not show on my 13.1 inch screen.
Any way to get that scaled?

That would the icing on the cake :)

this splash screen support only 1280x800 resolution. Soon there are others.
Meanwhile give me your res in pixels so i can fix your problem

Supported resolutions:
I'll start with some praise. The excellent beauty of the smooth colour transition is clearly mind-blowing. However, some resolutions do not only affect the wallpaper but also the animation itself, causing the splash screen to crash.
You've got to manually adjust the ksplashML file.
