There are not really any themes that go with the NuoveXT icon set (an awesome piece of work). So I put together a theme that integrates this icon set, it uses the polyester style, for now the glass aero dekorator theme (I am working on an original dekorator style), I made a glass panel background (unfortunately kde 3.8 does not support semi-transparent backgrounds), .mng button for the kickoff menu, and my new background.

Instructions for installing the kickoff button:

Copy the .mng file into your /home/"username"/.kde/share/apps/kicker/pics
if the pics dir does not exist create it, then rename it kmenu_basic.mng and copy it, rename the copy kmenu_flipped.mng. Then remove the kickoff menu and place it back on the panel.

Instructions for installing the Kopete-NuoveXT theme:

Extract the .zip file to your /home/"username"/.kde/share/icons/nuovext-1.6/
directory.

Sorry if this is a newb question, but how do I get this to work?? Where does the main icon set come from and how do I make it appear? where does the .kth file go or where do I add it as a theme? I have followed the instrructions and have got nowhere.

Shame, as this seems to be a great theme.
