... are really beautiful.

But unfortunately they aren't your work. Have you ever posted a photo you made by yourself? Because I think it is really hard to search every day the Internet, copy photos out of other pages and post it here.

I don't like that you always get high votes for work you heaven't made and other ones get not so good votes for their own work where they spent time and often money in it.

In my opinion you should post your own stuff or you should let it be.

That´s it, exactly like my opinion. Stop posting artwork made by others.

 Your Photos

I guess that my thoughts have now been delivered by other souls somewhere from across the planet.

I was wondering if you EVEN own a camera because I personally have yet to see a picture that has not been one of yours!

In my mind, what you are posting is not in keeping with the intent of this medium which is to play around with the camera. Have fun.

I agree with rebe and LinuxfanMarcel. Post this stuff on your own website.

In reply to all the preceding speakers.
Yes, moust of wallpapers presentet here by me is based on photos not by me. But there is my work, all wallpapers are Gimped by me.
More over kde-look is not photoblog. So You have no right that all users must put here only their own photos.
At the end, I have permissions to redistribute this photos. All is on the one off free licences.

Sorry for my english.

But this is not fair now. Because playing a little bit with colors, light, and contrast in gimp is really "hard" work. The time you spend on a photo is abaout 5 minutes I think. Other people, even those who make the photos you post, spending hours to walk through the natuer and wait for the right moment to get their shot. So I dislike what you do even if you have permission to redistribute.

This peopel publlishing it on free (open) licence becouse like to give rights to others to distribute and modify.
So, I don't understand Your argument it is bad I redistribute it.
That is base off open source (free software, free art) community to give others rights to make derivatives and redistribute. Without this possibility whole community is nothing else like commersial corporation.
From my point of view every one who distribute something on free licence is happy when others redistribute it, make derivatives etc.
Your arguments are like Microsoft arguments. It is bad linux is free of charge, becouse we spend many time with developing Windows.
My motivation to made something for free community is not to show how I fantastic photo artist (for this are many photo blogs etc) but I like to give nice wallpapers, themes, etc. If they like it they download, if not like not download.
Important is to not brake license, what some peopel doing.

Hope You understand me.

I don't have a problem with redistributing the photos.

I don't like that you spend a lack of time on posting this stuff when others spend hours on taking their photos.

You redistribute the things even on www.art4linux.org. You can save pics up to 750 kb and this is enough for fotos. So why do you post it twice make it here or there. Or do you get money on every hit on the page?

So my opinion is post your own work on kde-look directly (no link to other homepage) or leave kde-look!!!!!!!!

OK, I still don't understand what is a problem.
I think kde-look is web space to share good wallpapers (and themes) with others. Not to share only Your own photos.
What You can say about themes?? Someone can make theme, next some other one based on it can make better version. So, better version is moust download, higher rated etc. It is bad to made better versions??
Another example: As all know Mac OSX have very nice design, themes etc (some thing the same about Vista ;) but no me). So many peopels try to made something similar. But some others peopels made oryginal themes. All share it here. So, someone who made oryginal theme can say something like You say: Oh, oh, not, not You only copy and spand small time on it, but I spend many mounts to made something new, so my theme is better and please don't put it here becose You spend to small time at work on it.
Your and similar argumentations are not understandable. kde-look is to share good wallpapers, themes, etc. It can be made by You or may be only shared by You. Only You must be legall.
I hope You understand I have right to put here my own or even Yours photos as wallpapers. You have the same right to take my wallpaper make improve it and put on kde-look. It is power of free (open) licenced arts and software.

I am the Author of the image, I have nothing against people using my images but you MUST follow the licsensing and although you have listed my name it needs to be a link to http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Benjamint444 to fullfill the full terms of the GNU documentation.
