I have always used Mandrake i think they
have the most user friendly distro.
The new control panel is very nice,
some bugs with raid & video cards
but most already have patches.

to get latest contributed rpms go to
ftp://ftp.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/contrib/texstar/linux/distributions/mandrake/9.0/rpms

there textar has the latest rpms you will need for your kde look&feel and other apps..

to center your kicker right click on it
select preferences and under
Alignment select center & length 1

How do I change my colors for keramik?
I try all the time to change them fro m KontrolCenter but they always remain in the blue/lightblue.

Do I have to install another version
or something?
I use KDE3.0 and keramik1.0

Ok, you're using an old version of Keramik, which hadn't that feature you request.

Just upgrade your KDE (>=3.1). And you won't need to install keramik anymore, cos it's the default theme since 3.1, and of course you can customize the colors :))
