Description:

This is a Kubuntu version of Gears KDM theme (credits to mandrivian and ChristianNickel), based on the following Ubuntu Gears KDM theme : http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=32589

Original version features a flat Kubuntu logo.

2 versions featuring a logo with some kind of relief effect are available (logo from http://kubuntu.free.fr).

Version with official kubuntu edgy logo is available.

Finally, a Kubuntu Tux version is also proposed.

That should be it for now, unless i find some other kool Kubuntu logos. You may suggest new pictures, and your comments/suggestions are welcome.

In order to get nice, homogeneous KDE theme, you can download ChristianNickel's original artwork as well :

surely i already searched the web before asking the question. my concern is that my nested session starts automatically (kde loads but kdm doesn't). there must be a trick, but sincerely, trying to get a KDM screenshot is a real pain in... well, you know...

alrighty then. having spent about 2 hours (!) googling and mixing different resources, i finally achieved to get a proper nested kdm so that i should be able to post an updated version of thoses files, including _real_ screenshot.

still, i'm quite amazed to see how long it took me to figure out how to do it. i suppose such things should be easy to find, especially on kde-look.org.

maybe i should post a tutorial... i think i'll do so in the near future.

that's enough computing for tonight, it saturday evening and i now have a girlfriend (i.e. my daughter's mother) to take care of.
so you guys wait a little bit before i post some updated content...
