Description:

I didn't like the 'classical' lookout of kteatime, so I took it's icon, and modified it a bit...
Tell me please if you like it...

To install the icons, simply unzip the tarball, and copy the icons from one of the subdirectories to kteatime's icon directory (which is /usr/share/apps/kteatime/icons/crystalsvg/22x22/actions at me). The only difference is that I put the icons in new.up directory a few pixels higher...

The source is a bit harder to install - you will need to download the kdetoys package. Now untar this kteatime into the kdetoys dir, ./configure, enter into kteatime directory, type 'make' and 'sudo make install'. This should do it.
Have fun!

ps.: the solution for the three-frame animation is rather lousy, I know, but this is the first time I'm coding in C++ :)




Changelog:

I've corrected the ~1px position difference between the icons in new.up directory.

I have modified the source a bit - now it has an 'awesome' three-frame animation :)

I've been waiting for yeaaaars for a KTeaTime makeover! I was only a month away from doing it myself!

Thanks, it looks great at works a lot better with the rest of the icons.

I've just noticed that the mug from new.up seems to be jumping when steaming.

It's just a matter of a pixel or two vertically. (the frame with steam is higher then the normal stance)

Thanks for the comment - it took me quite much time to realize this 'effect'... Now I put up a corrected version, without the jumping mug...

Now the tea timer is cut a bit on the bottom, but that's not such a bit issue.

I've got an idea though - is it possible to make the steaming animation in three frames? An aditional frame would make a world of difference in the animation!

Hehe, I know it might sound stupid, but KTeaTime is one of my favourite applications ever! And people actually ask me where I got it! ...so, yea, KTeaTime IS a KDE killer app in my view.

Well, I think that's not that easy as it may seem: to do this it's not enough to re-design the icons, minor modification of the code is needed (only minor, I hope :) )... The major problem is, that I can't ever see the animation - where is it???
