Description:

Some programs need help. This one's easy. It uses basic HTML markup and can even be automated to visual writing with just a little work. Here's what it offers
* tree strucuture topics
* rich text content
* can include images
* can be opened to the topic of choice (it could even be made to go to a line)
* all topics and headings saved in separate text files for easy editing
* creates example files if there are no topics (back up your help files in case this is deleted)
* the most innovative feature is the note section which does some tricky things to stay small until you use it, even though it's in a splitter

It has been shown that people retain over twice as much when taking notes, so every help file should have one of these. The note file is a separate text file that is auto generated, so while they could be shared, or sent to developer, they are not automatically included in a copy of help, topics and content.

A great idea to give extra help! I could do with the install process :)

There's -no- install! Cheeze n crackers man, fire it up. It's a help dialog and at the risk of being overly rational I have it load up help on how to use it when you open it.

It's pretty simple. There's a file for topics and one for content and they are both holding Kommander arrays. You never need to touch the dialog. In fact... As I recall I set it up to auto generate those files if it didn't find any files already made. So if you forget how to use it, move your help files away and it creates it's own help again.

I'm sure it's going to surprise people, because you don't expect a recursive help dialog to offer help on how to use the dialog in the help... Call me crazy, I just had to do it. ;)

create 2 files help.content and help.topic put in the same folder of the script and so for example :

this is the content of the file :

help.content

_topic["Fuoco/introduction/What's is ?"] = "<div align=\"center\"><h2>IS the itle ?</h2></div><p>hello world,</p>"

this is the contente of the file
help.topic

Fuoco/introduction/What's is ?
