it is more like

and it is meant to be something like netmeetings whiteboard. i get dozens of mails requesting a feature like this in konference, the video conference app i am developing.

since this would be designed to be a kpart, it should be usable in kopete, kontact and whatnot...

I think it would better fit into the KDE-PIM suite.
If the developers put some handy stuff in it, like simple shapes and arrows to draw, the whiteboard could be used very efficiently. Also, something like a chat or comments integration could be useful.

Agreed :) I'm extatic to see this finally being designed for KDE. Heck, if this was fully integrated with KDE, it would make KDE truly collaboration oriented. One possibility is to make it able to communicate with NetMeeting Whiteboards as well. Keep working on this, cause I can definately say I'd use it :)
