Description:

My new idea for KDM. Delete splah-screen from kde4 and insert a kdm with animations. For example my idea consist a multifade stars when start the login screen and when the user finish to insert username and password the animations are invariate but in the botton of kdm the button to access on advance menu (shotdown, restart ecc..) change in \"Loading Desktop\". For me is simple and clear.

the animations idea can be used with weather conditions data, like plasma-desktop wallpaper...

like plasma-desktop, I never thought but would be a good idea!!! You should think about something like the E17 animated wallpaper, but could we take advantage of OpenGL.
Sorry for my english...

Yes I have read and seen on the site of Tolltrek.I think it will not be so hard to realize this idea, but need someone able to do it! :)
Maybe Qt 4.6 we also see new things in Bespin (for example blur on transparency).

I like this concept. It's been quite a while since you submitted the mock-up. I wonder if anyone has ever made this 'real' or at least something close to it.
