Description:

This is a modification of Dream_Team's Dream Tiger compiz theme (available at http://www.compiz.net/topic-3816-dream-accurate-tiger and in the xgl-coffee Gentoo package for CGWD) to make it fit with the KDE style Baghira, especially the gradiented toolbars (see screenshot).

To do this, I have changed the background pixmaps to look like the Tiger windeco in Baghira. The background pixmaps are not identical to Baghira because I decided to get rid of a dark line across the top, partly because Compiz draws such nice shadows and partly because it would fit better if I lost one pixel of height. I decided to keep the buttons from Dream Tiger because I prefer them to the Baghira ones and because they have a nice mouseover effect.

Since DTeam posted a link to a recent version of the original, I am planning to update this theme too. I think I will keep the version number in step to prevent confusion.

I don't know if cross-posting on GNOME-Look and KDE-Look is ok. I put this on GNOME-Look because it has a Compiz section, and I'm putting it here because it is of most interest to KDE users.

 Gradient toolbars?

How did you get the gradient toolbar in Baghira? Do you use 0.7 or the CVS version? Perhaps you could post your baghira information? Very nice looking!

0.7, using Tiger widgets. Will post more details in morning (GMT) as I'm sleepy.

Oh yeah, normally you have to have the menus at the top of the screen, OS-X style, so that the toolbar is the first thing below the title bar.

When you have Tiger window decorations and Tiger widgets enabled on Baghira, a gradient is drawn on any toolbars which are at absolute top of a window, such that the gradient in the windeco appears to continue smoothly over the toolbar.

Most KDE apps, by default, have menus above the main toolbar, so you have to set the menus to be at the top of the screen (it's under behaviour or something).

Nice work on the mod, just give credit :)

PS : Is baghira still not accurate on the buttons and all ?

Oh i forgot : it seems that you messed up the corner shadows, even is the pixmap is already rounded you must do a corner rounding radius to get the corresponding shadow

The corners seem OK to me, if I don't use the reflection plugin. I based my pixmaps on your flat pixmaps from version 0.1, but I will make an updated theme based on your latest (rounded corners) version now that I know where to download it.

Well, actually for some reason I can't change my theme right now, but I'll update things once that's fixed...

Sorry about not giving credit. I didn't know where to link to because, as I said, I got the original theme from Portage. Thanks for letting me know and I'll edit the description.

Baghira's buttons are for some reason less contrasted than MacOs's. I don't know why they are like that, but I prefer your theme's buttons. Maybe Thomas is worried about legal issues to do with using pixmaps that actually come from MacOS.

As DTeam says, Realistik. OS-L also works well with Baghira.

Oh, thanks a lot. I use baghira as window decoration, not as style theme, that's why I didn't see before.
