 White background

 by ElBrujo on: Jan 15 2009

Just registered to thank you for this great theme but I'd love if the background of the applications were white. For example, I have my openoffice blue and it's worse to edit documents, is it possible to change that?

Thanks in advance

 Background

Of course you can...
Just edit gtkrc file in /home/[login]/.themes/Deepspace/gtk-2.0.
On line 26 replace:
bg[NORMAL] = "#001331"
by
bg[NORMAL] = "#FFFFFF"

But It will involve other changes in this theme

 Modification

Hi! First I wanna thank you for this beautiful theme. And I wanted to ask if I can change the background and the main toolbar of the Synaptic Package Manager and the File Browser with root premissions, because now they're grey... When i try to do it from System >> Preferences >> Appearance >> Theme >> Customize >> Colors I get the following message: "The current controls theme does not support color schemes"... I tried to modify the gtkrc file in the theme folder, but without success...
