I have made an SVG out of this so it can be used on any background. I also shifted the second column down a little, I hope this does not change the meaning of the symbols. ;-)

Sorry, I don't speak Chinese. Afligido, yo no hablo chino. Entschuldigung, ich kann kein Chinesisch. Je ne parle pas Chinois.

But passing your posting through babelfish.altavista.com, the result looks like it was probably originally a poem.

The poem was written by Tao Yuanming,
a famous poet in ancient China.
The calligraphy comes from me.

Drinking Poem by Yuanming Tao

Though the JieLu is a place in human world,
There is no noise made by people and their horses.

Somebody asked me how can I feel like that,
I said:"It'll become quiet if you put your mind far away".

Picking the flowers at the east of my house,
I can see mountains to the south.

And the sun is setting, birds are returning.

There seems to be some kind of meaning in these beautiful landscape.
But when I try to describe it, I don't even know how.

This poem is nothing to do with the alcohol. The main meaning is to express the beautiful and relaxing life in the country side, which Tao loved.

The noise made by people and their horses representing the big cities and politic fields, which Tao hated.
