Description:

This is my very first KDM theme in an early stage of development. As backround idea I took the quite nice wallpaper "Crystal Style" from raoulduke2.
Please report errors or any feature requests.

To install:
-unpack archive in $KDEDIR/share/apps/kdm/themes/
-edit your kdmrc-file to:
Theme=$KDEDIR/share/apps/kdm/themes/BlueTheme
UseTheme=true




Changelog:

0.2:
-problem with capslock/login-error fixed
-smaller shadows
-tested at 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1600x1200 (1280x1024 best view)

0.3:
-Now with userlist!

userlist there is, try these lines in xml file (I'm in kde-3.5.1, you need to add a parenthesys to each line):

What would really be nice is if someone would write a manual for how to make these :)

I get emails all the time about things like this. userlists was the #1 thing they asked about. Funny thing is I've never even made a theme, just a theme manager...
But finally I got something to show them! thanks :)

Hi, I've just installed this on my system (3.5.1 on FreeBSD) and it looks really nice! Nice to see a kdm theme that isn't specific to some Linux distro or other.

Everything works except that there's no user list. The rectangle for it is there, down the left side, but it's empty.

I have 3 users selected in the kdm control panel but they just don't appear!

i have the same problem, users not shown in the userlist but they are present in the normal kdm interface. any hints on how to fix this?

I also don't have my three users in the list :( Is there anyone who *has* a user list with this theme?

Want excellent hardware recognition and an easy way to install Debian Sid? Get KANOTIX!

The same problem, no userlist with theme(s) but when I use kdm without theme, userlist appears...

It would be interesting to see which distros support the user-list in themed KDM... it seems vanilla KDE doesn't have this feature (at least until 3.5.2)
