I just made a simple splash screen to match this wallpaper. Look for Blue Klass in the splash screens section !

Actually the wallpaper is rendered completely with Blender, so there's no place where you can see an image of the gear without its background. But if you're interested to use Blender (which is Free Software), I can send you the gear model.

You can find the license definition here : http://dev.perl.org/perl6/rfc/346.html
As I can understand it, in summary, you can distribute this image freely, but you have to provide information on the license and author. If you modify it, you also have to include a link to the original image, on kde-look.org.
