This is my wallpaper you used for your background.
I don't know what you would think if somebody takes your wallpaper to use it for his tasks, but the only thing is that you could have asked for it.

I don't like this bunny anyway.

Its called sharing dude.
Without this website, the language this website was written in, the preprocesser language this website runs on, the webserver this runs on, the OS that webserver runs on, 90% of the work this website contains, the programs people use to make this website, and KDE itself would not exist.

If you feel somehow hurt by him expanding on your work: Have a hard think, only good has come from it. He didnt credit you; But who cares? What did YOU LOOSE?

Lighten up a bit.

You should feel "honored" that someone thought enough of what you did to "adapt" it for something else.

There was no intent of taking credit away, or anything of that sort, as I commented that this was from previous posts.

As far as "asking", then by inference does everyone who downloads the howto's, or other items also have to make similiar requests? It's a bit adolecent to expect them to.

Don't mind people using KDE Girl for other images, but do give the orignal poster of the file credit at least.

Eh, it's doubtful that Tomservo was the original author of this image since it's been around for a few years.

Though I do give him credit for POSTING it.

not some lame cutnpaste manga/anime revival.
by the way mangas suck and anime too. most of this stuff is just sick machismo.
it's embarassing for people who use such wallpapers, but whatever it just shows their state of mind nothing against that.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
dont know why this thought makes me lie rolling laughing on the floor.

GEEKS! dont end like this...

dont bring such stupid exclamation-marks of juvenile obsessions together with the philosophy of opensource.
this is just bad propaganda.

you should at least provide references where you took the images from both the mutated woman and the background. i doubt you did any part of this image yourself, beside putting it together in photoshop.

(YES I DOUBT YOU ARE SKILLED ENOUGH TO USE GIMP FOR SUCH TASKS)

Someone got up on the wrong side of the keyboard today.

Juvenile obsessions eh? Boy, hope you never travel to Japan then.. I have some friends there that would be greatly offended by that.

It is a shame though that you consider yourself they great decider in what geeks should and shouldn't like.

Now, on to other points, I did put in my orignal KDE Girl post that I had the image in my collection for quiet some time.. so the orignal designer of the image (It was a .PSD BTW) has been lost to the past.

I did edit some of the image, not much. Why mess with something that is already just right?

True.. though, you have to be skilled to use Gimp .. that's why there are macros and actions to do 90% of anything you would want to do. I have been a graphic designer for several years.. and I still hardly use and actions or macros.. sure they would speed up the process but you lack the touch and control.

So, before you pass any kind of judgement. Know more about who you want to attack first.

You are just showing another bad side of what people think geeks are.

Personally, I am just posting because people like the artwork and they are using it. I don't really care what you think, but did want to clear the air. Personally, I consider this thread dead and done.
