Description:

I dont use icons on my desktop but some do and the background was very bad for icons so i made a lil overylay thingy to help with that. I hate white and hence forth got rid of the white K.

I will leave the old one up for users who like me dont use icons on the desktop.

I for one think it's fine. It's not a work of art, but it suits its purpose just fine. :)

Maybe some other users with 19" would like it even bigger?

lol thank you secretmethod. I do agree with the cynical bastage to some extent. Wallpaper should be minimialistic in nature and this doesnt fit in that catagorie. After watching the movie though i felt the spice of life and created something loud. -=]

i will add bigger sizes if people really want them.

That may or may not be the case, but my biggest complaint is the big ugly "K" in the wallpaper.

Plastering Crystal-style Ks or penguins doesn't magically make a good wallpaper, and in general, I won't use or like one that juxtaposes them with completely different material (e.g., The Matdix). I do like some of the KDE-themed wallpapers that come with KDE because they're tastefully done and show some sense of artistic unity. This wallpaper has neither.

I just love apostrophes! I'm glad you put one in! It makes my desktop feel so much more grammatical!

...

Look, folks. It would probably be best if everyone in the Slashdot/KDE/open-source community simply forgot that the apostrophe exists.
