Very nice start. I love the native look in KDE Plasma. It would also be nice to take adventage of more KDE technologies right from the GUI (tagging, rating, Plasma widget...). Also is there any plan to also make a standalone version? |

Meni se tudi zdi da nekako skoraj ni potrebno delat še ene slovenske distribucije. Najbolje se je priključiti ekipi kake že obstoječe slovenske distribucije, trenutno če se ne motim je taka same še FeriX. In potem se pač potrudiš da so na voljo paketki za te teme in podobno na voljo za to distribucijo. Bolj je koristno tudi da se ljudje pridružijo že obstoječi skupini in podskupinam za prevajanjem, ki že imajo dolgo tradicijo pri Lugosu. Tam se pač prevaja potem upstream zadeve ala KDE, Firefox ... in pa distribucije (Mandriva+KDE je trenutno verjetno še najbolje poslovenjena).
Če bi se res šli eno svojo novo distribucijo potem je res treba veliko dela vložit in promocije in kasneje vzdrževanja in skrbeti tudi za priliv novih članov ekipe. Pri Pingo so to zelo profesionalno začeli pa je na koncu pomanjkanje nove krvi tudi pokopalo distribucijo. |

I use Mandriva Linux for normal day to day work and Gentoo when I'm in a hacking/learning mood. |

I'm glad you like my preview. To compile from SVN just follow this tutorial: http://quality.kde.org/develop/cvsguide/index.php Oh and you will not see many new things in the trunk (KDE 4) as they are now mainly just preparing (porting) sources to make them compile with Qt 4. So many things don't even work now. After they port everything only then the real work of adding new features will start. |

When I tried to run the install.sh I got an error and I had to move -maxdepth and -type options before the -name argument. So the correct second line for me is: KDEHOME=`find ${HOME} -maxdepth 1 -type d -name ".kde*"` |
