Tired of it? Yep, and I think at the very least buttnut needs its own sections. |

| | | Perfection Dec 18 2010 on content Orta | You nailed it, thanks. Works great on both my Arch and Sid desktops. No new features needed. I love the flexibility of the theme. One of the best gnome themes I've ever used.
Have a great weekend and thanks again! |
| | | Re: Re: this is silly Dec 17 2010 on group | Oh, in answer to your question. I think such a check would certainly circumvent a lot of stupid questions. "How do I use this theme?" is one commonly seen but the list is infinite.
Now nuking the hard drive might be a little extreme lol. Maybe a small script that tells them that's what it's doing would be a hoot - "Format sda1: WARNING ALL DATA WILL BE LOST! Are you sure?" and lock the cursor on "Yes". Maybe a couple of more "Are you sure?" for good measure.
We did that to some of the Windows Boxes when I was in school and it was most amusing to watch. No damage done though.(although you had to reboot to get rid of the prompt lol)
You could always try telling them it doesn't work with Ubuntu for some reason. That would probably work in several cases, but then your comments would be getting plugged up with silly questions and requests.

| | | Re: Re: this is silly Dec 17 2010 on group | Point taken. Thanks for the advice.
I am a relative noob here and I guess I'm not too familiar on OD policy, certainly inexperienced at best(guess I should read the TOS.hahah)
Of course it could be restricted to "constructive" criticism but that probably wouldn't work lol. I'll kill the group in a little while anyway. I wouldn't want to upset the OD hierarchy or the little ubunturoos.
It's just the name of that other group makes me grind my teeth lol. How much lameness can one be expected to take? I'm only human!
Thanks Rob. Like your work btw.
