I couldn't find any similarities between you and the Detour enlightenment theme author.
If you created this (and created Detour) please let us know. It's a wonderful theme and you should be congratulated. Otherwise, please stop stealing. |

This is not meant to flame. It will probably be viewed that way, unfortunately. But it is meant to draw attention to some disturbing trends on the site. (and I don't know if it's targeted at the site admins or the "artists" themselves.)
It used to be that I could come to KDE-Look on a daily basis and be impressed by the content, often times inspired to go out and try new things. Unfortunately, that was a long time ago, and I can barely stand to hit the site once a month.
At what point did the front page cease being "eyecandy" and just become a bunch of entries of:
- "I can put text on someone else's graphic and call it my own" (and the inevitable - "I'll repost with Debian" "repost with Gentoo" "repost with Redhat"...)
- "look what I can do with GIMP in 2 minutes"
- seventeen entries of the same image (sometimes stolen from other sites/authors) in different resolutions
- color schemes that make the eyes bleed
- flat out pr0n
(and, yes, fine art does often include nudity... but only when the nudity involved is used to highlight the human form - not because some junky kid gets off on looking at naked women. I have yet to see any examples of the former here on kde-look and plenty of examples of the latter)
I'm glad that a lot of people out there are experimenting with Linux. And especially glad that they're using KDE. But a lot of these "here's the first thing I made with GIMP" are destroying what used to be a very creative site. Not that creativity shouldn't be encouraged - it should. But post your good works... not everything. |

Please recategorize as "Theme-Manager Theme". This is not a "Theme/Style for ..."
In your case, "Keramik" is the "Theme/Style". A collection of a bunch of wallpapers, icons, styles, window decs, etc, is a "Theme-Manager Theme". |

Although quite glad that you mentioned that there was "another source". But you might want to not call it "original" since it isn't. And, if there is any question about the source, please don't repost it. Regardless of how "nice" it looks, it is still tantamount to stealing.
This wallpaper in question, however, is jimmac's which means it's likely all right to repost. I've located it here: http://www.tigert.com/wallpapers, although I'm sure it can be found elsewhere. It is often titled "hax0r (original from jimmac)". By just calling this "HAX0R Original" it looks like you're taking credit :) |

Let me guess... you took the SVG of the iPod that someone else had created, slapped it onto a blue background (that someone else had created) and yet NO WHERE do you give credit to the original authors.
And then we wonder why Linux is accused of stealing code. |

Please move it to Themes/Styles >> "Theme-Manager".
KDE 3.2 - 3.5 are for widget themes. |
