I can't get install these icons themes-
i've donwload correctly these .tar.gz files,then go to the control center,pref...icons,choose this .tar.gz,ok,then click on "install new theme" -but-nothing happen? any idea?any alternative way of installing?

here is the precision of my problem:
when I download the SLICK Theme the source file is dowload from members.ozemail.com.au/~abug
->and is copy on this location:
/root/.kde/share/apps/kio_http/cache/members.ozemail.com.au_~abug_themes_slick-1.1.tar.gz:7beO8b6a
taille =2.6mo authorisation is writing and reading! |

I've try many times the way you've described exactly but failed when clicking on instal new themes at the right of the selected folders ... |

from a newbie:
I want to instal this icons theme-I like it -but I'm new in linux-
I used redhat7.2beta+KDE2.2-user=root
I download this theme through the link-
but when I return in my icons control center-and valid instal on the new theme file,nothing happen-is it the problem of the format file(.tar.gz...)??-if you can guide me step by step ->thanks |
