Hi guys really to drop this app and move it to kde is such a wrong move, moving backwards, not everyone on the planet uses kde, heck all the small distro's don't use it because its too big, same with gnome users who don't use kde, about 4/5 of the linux users don't use kde, but 90% of them use grub, really think about it just because you have QT installed doesn't mean you have kde installed.
Well I hope you change your minds.

Hi I'm one of the developers for Puppy Linux and I personally think this is a very nice text editor, The only thing I changed in it is the icons, they are way too big and if you use the cleanlooks qt4 theme, a few of them blend into the background, I changed them to Gnome/gtk and it looks great!!
One thing I would like to see is a text searchbox part of the iconified taskbar next to the find icon.
and the ability to turn on/off text under the icons.
The fonts_colors under settings doesn't work. and the only errors I get when compiling is

As for the other poster trying to discourage your efforts, Personally He has no clue how to promote a great start, I guess you get the good with the bad, Please keep this project going, and one day it might be at the point where Geany text editor could be replaced with it.
Excellent work I give it a 7.5 out of 10, This is one of the best lite weight QT editors going.
