| ![.](/img/trans.gif) | | the colors Mar 9 2005 on content Thunder Road | I forgot or could not post a reason why certain colors are the way they are. The main reason for this theme is to facilitate a nice overall view, feel and texture when running completely transparent menu's, taskbars, and virtual desktops.
The rating system is useless as one persons tastes will most likely not be like the person that was previously viewing said product. Thus, you the viewer judge for yourself, etc. and /ignore that rating system as it's other function is to keep current fad's afloat and in the limelight for those who believe its a way to be whatever.
MY mind can't think in such a closed-minded way so please forgive my lack of words to describe what I mean.
Enjoy it whomever you are or don't, but leave the final judgement to the one that wants to make up their own firetrucking mind.
For those who know what a dictatorship or communist country is like, this place feels just like that.
And with that I will however show you in an IRC type fashion just what I mean...
<BB> THE AUTHORITY WILL MAKE YOU CONFORM TO OUR WAY OR THE WAY THAT IS POPULAR.
<talent> Excuse me, but where are the guidelines for that?
<BB> WHO TOLD YOU THAT YOU HAVE A SAY IN THIS? WE'RE GOING TO PUSH YOU BY MOB TACTICS INTO THE BASEMENT CLOSET WHERE NO ONE GOES SO YOU CAN BE LIKE FOX MULDAR! |
| ![.](/img/trans.gif) | | how funny! Mar 9 2005 on content Caribbean Blue | I find the rating system 'very' pointless. One persons tastes can be vastly different from another persons and if the one person that created the style of what's posted exists there could be others like him or her that will like what they see, so the rating system is obsolete by the inherency of human makeup and thus not relevant to this venue. I believe it's a way to bully people to conform to a certain style which then defeats the purpose of this 'free society posting system',
One look at this color scheme shows a very nice color scheme to me. I am perplexed at why the rating keeps going down from 50% to whatever.
The computations involved with this equation must be that the majority of "rating people clickers" just want you to be like the current fad or what they like, but then that would make you the poster of the product a clone of them or a backup file repository for their files. Another reason why a rating system is not required here as it can be used as a means to an end for putting someone else down or into a state of mind that the rating people want them in. Sad indeed but still funny that those who rate in such a way just show how petty they truly are.
Can't just change the channel if they don't like what they see, they have to rate it so others can't have the opportunity to judge for themselves.
Mister administrator, who see's all, think about what I've typed here. The whole environment of this venue and gnome-look is starting to feel like the "Communist way".
"IF you don't conform to OUR way", we'll make your popularity go down the tubes or kill off your work entirely with mob tactics.
As personal tastes vary and others don't come here or anywhere else to be like YOU the rater, then there's no point to have a rating system at all. |

How funny and sad. One look at this picture shows a very nice and tactful layout with a nice color scheme and even a pretty object to look out. I am perplexed at why the rating keeps going down from 50% to whatever no matter what the female is wearing or how they are posed. The end result of the computations involved with this equation must be that the majority of rating people clickers are homosexuals or just plain antagonistic at heart.
