Great Style
Jul 3 2007  on content Skulpture

Great Style, I like it a lot. Cool Elegance, it's how I would summarize it. Please do not stop working on this. This looks great.

Great, linux needs more down to earth dirty work doing apps for business. Keep going.

Remote Control
Feb 3 2007  on content Amarok Full Screen

Great Idea, I would also recommend a kde lirc module addon so that it can be controlled via the remote. Also, I suppose the details being displayed on the screen could be handled by some xml/html file. That would make it possible to customize it easily and also would open up the possibility of having themes, which is always welcome thing.

Not ready (yet!!)
Nov 17 2006  on content Linux GL ready

Well, don't get me wrong. but we(linux users) are far from ready for GL. The existing window managers are still in early developement versions and they crash quite often. Of course it looks cool but I would not use them in their present shapes on my everyday pc. Good for showing off imho though.

Great work. It is by far the best splash screen for gentoo I have ever seen. Simple, elegant, just cool.

Config is not saved
May 8 2006  on content transKode

Thank's a lot, it is a lovely amarok script. Invaluable to me as I use ogg play on a symbian phone and converting my playlists easily to a quality 1 ogg's is essential. However, transKode on my pc does not save the profiles if I modify the settings via gui. Modifying config file by hand works and the settings are preserved. I have checked the permissions but everything seems to be in order.

Amarok 1.0-beta1
Apr 11 2004  on content Amarok

Excellent work!!!

The most user friendly and usable player for KDE, no questions about that.

However I would like to see one feature implemented in the playlist section. When adding new files to the end of the playlist I have to drag'n'drop files/dirs/artist/album to the bottom of the current one, which is a bit annoying since the gap below the lowest item and the window border is quite small. Simple implementation of double clicking on a file/album/artist name and/or a right click menu with add to playlist (possibly with end/beggining) would do the trick and would make Amarok even better.

Also implementing a seek forward (s) and seek backward (s) options in DCOP would make it nicer for remote control users.

And additionally, support for cue files would be nice.

Keep up the great work.

Thanks

.
