Diskmonitor targets HDD. Maybe it suports removable device in the future.

I can’t make Debian package (.deb), because I have no Debian machine and no Debian package knowledge. But I can help you compile source files. Can you show error messages?

Are you using Linux LVM? DiskMonitor doesn’t support Linux LVM now.
