This GDM is awesome and my favorite on gnome-look.org. It matches my existing desktop theme perfectly and I am lucky to have found it!

COOL! I just changed it to Black Diamond and it works perfectly. Sayonara, puke green! Now I can continue to use Linux Mint 17.1 which is the best Mint version I've tried. They've done an excellent job this time, especially enabling Compiz by default. I can't live without Compiz and Emerald.

Thanks for your response. I'm glad I'm not the only one repulsed by that ugly shade of green. That has been the main reason I've avoided Linux Mint in the past. It is an all-pervasive system color that shows up everywhere. I'm assuming that it is in a Mint system file. I'll look for it myself and let you know if I find it! |

Hi, I found and installed the Black Diamond GDM included with this theme. I noticed you are using Linux Mint as I am. The only problem is the all pervasive Linux Mint green color which shows up here (and many other places) in the user login image and doesn't match the color scheme of your GDM. Do you know where this color can be changed or what configuration file can be edited to change it from this awful green color to grey, dark-grey, charcoal or black that would be compatible with your GDM? I've noticed that this is a common problem with many other GDM's used with Linux Mint in which this green color shows up but is totally incompatible with color scheme of the GDM.

Totally awesome, dude! This is one of the absolute best themes I've come across! I am now using it with the Black-Red icon theme and Elite-Dangerous screenshot wallpaper. I've themed many linux distros but this theme I have now is my absolute favorite.

Thanks for your responsiveness and creating a new theme with the larger mouse pointer size. 48x looks good, however, it's too large for my desktop. Is there an easy way to edit this theme to reduce it to a fixed 32x size?

Hi,
Thanks very much for your detailed response. My problem is that I cannot live without Compiz but it has a bug that makes it difficult to change the mouse cursor theme. To do so I have to edit the /usr/share/icons/default/index.theme file by remarking out the Name line under [Icon Theme] and adding Inherits=Azenis. This works fine but I haven't found a way yet to change the size of the cursor, which I would like to do. Normal methods such as the one in the askubuntu link will not work. Thanks anyway for your input.

Your Azenis cursor enhancement looks very nice!
However, it would be very helpful if you could include detailed installation instructions, including how to change the cursor size, if Compiz is enabled.
