Anyway I suggested to fix the plasmoid without changing locale because in this way the user will see the date in his language. |

I don't know if it's a KDE issue or not, but when the list is too long and a scrollbar appears, if you put a plasmoid below airdate-plasmoid you'll see the rest of the list over this one.
I couldn't reproduce the same behavior with other plasmoids, like opendesktop_activities. |

Yes, locale is the problem. I don't know why in python console works.

| | | Sound card powersave issue and suggestions

Hi. I noticed that KGmailNotifier doesn't let my soundcard go into powersave mode if sounds are enabled. Disabling them while KGmailNotifier is running it's not enough, I have to restart it. I also noticed that when I start it, it always disables the powersave mode. With "lsof | grep /dev/snd" I found out that KGmailNotifier is always using the pcm device.
I solved this problem commenting out "m_audioPlayer = new AudioPlayer();" and replacing "m_audioPlayer->play();" with that: http://doc.qt.nokia.com/latest/phonon-overview.html#playback. However I don't know anything of C++ and I hope that someone else will solve this problem.
I also noticed that shell commands are not allowed to turn on/off the led. Why don't you replace in ledHandler.cpp "ledProc << m_ledOffCommand;" with "ledProc.setShellCommand(m_ledOffCommand);"?

I have a suggestion. Why don't you also add the possibility to receive notification every X minutes, preferably a few seconds before the end of the X minutes?
It would be very useful for rates charged at intervals.

In Debian normal users have to run /sbin/iwconfig in order to use it, not only iwconfig.
