I'm not sure, but I think the last person who suggested this was actually tarred and feathered. Fake transparency is, generally speaking, always too hackish, hence its hopefully never going to make its way into KDE4. I mean I see what you're saying, but also the number of people with computers that can't run kde with compositing enabled is getting smaller and smaller. KDE is progressing, this is just kinda regressing. Just thought there should be at least one comment so you could know some of the reasons why people are probably rating down so much. |

This would be awesome to see realized! The one thing KDE 4 is lacking, next to gnome, is the total customizability of the UI. Wish I could do more than make a program print "Hello World" :P |

Which comes right back my previous statement, it you want to test it why not try kde 4.3 from svn or 4.3 beta1. The bugs it has from running in 4.2 probably don't quite reflect the bugs from 4.3. Considering it's being made for 4.3, the most important bugs to find are those that happen when running 4.3, not 4.2, one would think. :P |

Gotta say I agree, it is a beautiful plasma theme, however, it's glitchy with 4.2, if you want it, then you should either wait till 4.3 when it'll be sufficiently polished or test out kde 4.3 (which isn't as hard as it sounds). |

ok, I did a bit of research, and the stargate does actually have 9 chevrons, its just that the last two are hardly every used, so hardly ever shown, or shown to be inactive, ect. :) |

I based the svg of it on a screenshot from a stargate dialing computer game thingy, it was the only really good picture of the dialing computer I could find :P |
