Fantastic!
Mar 19 2007  on content Carbonit

Awesome theme, I'm still using Beryl 0.1.4 and by renaming the Carbonit.cgwdtheme file to Carbonit.emerald, I was able to import the theme to Emerald Theme Manager and use it. There doesn't seem to be any problems with it, except for a very tiny black line underneath the "Shade Window" button on the top right in the active window. The pulsing and everything else also works just fine. It took me a while to figure out I could just rename the file, so maybe just renaming it in the package would save others some time too :) Thanks for the great work, it's fantastic.

OOo, Firefox, TB
Mar 15 2007  on content LiNsta 3 (Linux is Not Vista)

Really great theme, but as so many have pointed out, in Firefox, Thunderbird, and OpenOffice.org (2.1), the menubar as well as the menu items are black, so they can't be read.

In Firefox and Thunderbird, using another theme changes the menubar colour, so that's a temporary workaround.

Is there any configuration file or any settings for OOo that would allow the menubar text colour to be modified? Has anybody found a solution to this? Is it even possible to modify the Linsta theme to address this issue, or are dark themes basically doomed to have this problem in Gnome /w GTK2?

slackware 8.1 probs
Jun 30 2002  on content keramik style + translucent kicker

I have the same problems. When I close Konqueror or the Control Center, I get the SIGSEGV crash.

The only way to stop that from happening is to switch to another style (even though I can keep the same keramik decorations). I can enable menu transparency with the highcolor style and that doesn't cause any crash, so it's not the menu translucency that's the issue.

Anybody figure out why this is happening? I also installed this same style on Redhat 7.3 and it works great without any crashes (I had to do #export `KDEDIR=/usr/` ) but it works great.

Any solutions to the Slackware 8.1 prob?

What font?
Jun 29 2002  on content Kde3+keramik+crystal+IcOsX

What font are you using for the menus? It looks very nice and I don't think it's the truetype Verdana, Tahoma, Arial, or TrebuchetMS from Windows. Thanks.

Shadow on windows?
Jun 28 2002  on content [Keramik] Transparent Kicker (TARBALL)

I was wondering that myself. If keramik is using alpha blending for window decorations, then it should be possible to have an alpha blended border around every single window which would create the shadow effect.

Does keramik actually use alpha-blended window decorations? I've looked at the top-right and top-left edges and can't decide for sure if it's just on/off transprancy or alpha-blended transprancy. Anyone happen to know?
